The AIM-listed company paid almost $25-million for Silverbeck Rymer, an insurance defence firm based in Liverpool. Quindell told the Financial Times that it wants to offer insurers “a complete service in claims management while also lowering their costs.”
There’s definitely a trend in the making. Financial Times notes that Co-operative Group has recently added lawyers to its staff and Palamon Capital Partners, a private equity firm, invested in Quality Solicitors, a 150-member network of law firms in the U.K.
